When Cub plays decked out but doesn't come out of level 4, Tango and Scar go and rescue him, only to see him panicking. After getting out, Cub became more sensitive to skulk and the dark. After getting in contact with an old friend, Zueljin, who is part warden, he slowly gets over his fear with help from Shelby. But little did they know, they were slowly letting the skulk take over him again, and when they realized what they done, it was too late.
