Since ancient times, Demons have always existed. They were true monsters who not only wreaked havoc but also attacked humans. Most people cannot see them, so many disasters thought to be natural were actually caused by Demons. Those who can see them become Demon Slayers and use their might and wit to defeat them. Some Demon Slayers even possess magic, but not on par with the Demons themselves.

When a lone girl awoke in a sea of flames, she didn't know anything, not even her name. The girl was given the name Ookami Akahi and a gift by a passing Demon Slayer. Thus begins the story of Ookami Akahi's struggle against herself and her memories she so desperately wants to regain.
