Evelyn Bristow is an average hard working 22 year old employee of Kaple Oil, the company that employs 40% of the city she lives in. Her best friend, Lara Caddell, is the PA to the CEO of the second largest company in the city. The families of these two companies' that Lara and Evelyn work for are in a feud, despite their companies being in completely different industries. It's like the Montegues and Capulets; the two wealthiest families fighting for no discernable reason and has the common citizen in on it. Everyone has a side and it is truly idiotic.
One night, Lara and Evelyn have a little fun out on the town, and Evelyn meets an attractive gentleman plus a new close personal friend. Both men hate each other due to being idiots on the wrong side of the city-wide dispute. Lots of fun is indeed had that night and all seems well until Evelyn keeps running into the two idiots, over and over again. What will Evelyn do?

This idiot just won't get it!
"Rocky Road ice cream is the superior flavor." I reaffirm in the face of adversity.
"Almonds? No, thank you." Andrew also reaffirms his argument.
"And what exactly would you consider a good flavor?" I ask trying to find some form of level ground with him.
"Birthday Cake." Andrew immediately answers. I look at him silently and contemplate why I bothered asking. The blue monstrosity! I mean of all the flavors in the world! Only children enjoy Birthday Cake.
Andrew is looking at me just as silent and serious as I am looking at him, while I process through my shock. After a few moments, I sharply turn on my heels and call over my shoulder, "I'm leaving."
He gently grabs my forearm and pulls me around back to him while laughing.
"Luckily, I have a solution to our disagreement." He confidently tells me then leans down to whisper in my ear, "I will get Birthday Cake and you will get Rocky Road, then I'll pay." His voice is husky and deep and buttery and I am stuttering.
"S-S-Sure."
