But how did all these frightening tales come to be?

Enter the Sagrado Family, keepers of a century-old secret. They are Bibliokinetics, a rare group of psychics with the uncanny ability to manipulate books and literary works. The family is headed by Levi Sagrado, also known as "the Librarian," who runs the Sagrado Library together with his three daughters.

The eldest, Keena, a successful author with a fiery temper, is dubbed "the Writer." The youngest, Tavleen, a bubbly high school student, is "the Reader." While Alohi, the middle child, compensates for her lack of bibliokinetic powers with her inhuman strength and regenerative abilities, making her "the Gatekeeper."

When the Monsters Playbook, one of the Library's most dangerous works, is stolen by a powerful and mysterious Book Thief, the Sagrados must use their powers and work together to seal the urban legends back. The family must balance this dangerous mission with their daily struggles, drama, and budding romances, all while ensuring the city's peace and safety.
