Isn't it crazy how one moment or choice can change your entire life? When Maia gets talked by her bestie Kaylee into a last-minute trip from Nashville to the Auburn Rodeo, she only had expectations of seeing Zach Bryan perform. However, she gets a lot more than she bargains for when she meets Noah and the rest of the Savannah Bananas who are also attending the rodeo. The rodeo was a night neither Noah or Maia will forget, but for different reasons. Life goes on though and they will never likely see each other again, right? Wrong, because now eight months later Maia and Noah's paths are crossing again this time in Nashville on the 2024 Banana Ball World Tour. What will come of these five days in Nashville, it seems only time will tell, but it will surely be memorable.

Hannah Lytle was born and raised under the bright Oklahoma sun, but her heart beats for the burnt orange of Texas. as a senior at the University of Texas, she's already made a name for herself-the starting catcher for the Longhorns, MVP of the 2025 College World Series, and the newest rookie on Team USA's national softball team. she has always lived for the game. Behind the plate is where she feels most at home-reading runners, calling pitches, and shutting down anyone bold enough to test her arm. she's earned her reputation as one of the most unstoppable forces in college softball-sharp. fearless. unshakably loyal. her brother, Joe Lytle, might have carved his own legacy as one of the veteran catchers in the league and plays for the Banana Ball team, the Firefighters. she expects a night of tricks, laughs, and signature banana ball chaos. what she doesn't expect is him: the charming, maddeningly confident catcher on the opposite team that is known for impossible catches, outrageous dances, and a smile that could melt stadium lights. but, one accidental collision in the middle of the post game antics-his fault, obviously. and, suddenly the toughest girl in college softball finds herself rattled in a way no fastball ever could. between Team USA training sessions, late-night phone calls, and unexpected run-ins at stadiums across the country, Hannah starts to realize that maybe there's something out there she loves as fiercely as the game. and for the first time in her life, the girl who always guards home plate might have to decide if she's willing to guard her heart or finally let someone catch it. because unlike love, banana ball doesn't play by the rules-falling for the one guy who can match her competitiveness might be the wildest play she ever makes. and, as the toughest catch of her life... might be the one she never meant to make. AUTHOR'S NOTE: i don't know if Joe has a sister or not, but in this story, lets just say he does.

Liv Foster and Noah Fisher were the kind of childhood friends who could finish each other's sentences and steal fries off each other's plates without asking. Summers meant baseball dirt under Noah's nails, sunburn on Liv's shoulders, and some kind of unspoken promise that they'd always be in each other's orbit. Cut to college-new freedom, same heartbeat-and somewhere between study sessions and late-night drives, friendship twisted into something heavier. They fell, hard. Until Noah did the one thing Liv thought he never would: he cheated. No drama explosion, no cinematic screaming. Just quiet devastation. She walked away and built walls out of professionalism and caffeine. Years later, Liv gets an email that looks like the universe playing a cruel joke: she's just been offered a job as assistant to the new athletic director for the Party Animals. The same chaotic rival team that loves glitter, pranks, and unhinged celebrations. The same team where Noah Fisher-number 12, golden-boy outfielder, heartbreak incarnate-now plays. Liv walks into that stadium like she owns her composure. Noah sees her for the first time in years, and every apology he rehearsed evaporates. Their dynamic turns into this tightrope walk between old habits and unresolved tension. He tries humor, she gives him silence. He makes a catch mid-game, and she refuses to look impressed. But rivalry has a strange way of making sparks dangerous again. Forced to collaborate for charity events, media shoots, and player discipline reports (because Noah definitely pulls pranks that end up on TikTok), they start peeling back the layers-resentment, guilt, that stupid old warmth that never really died. It's friends to lovers to strangers to lovers again, but this time older, warier, and more real. The question isn't whether they'll fall again-it's whether they can trust each other not to break what's already been rebuilt.
