The Time Variance Authority is gone. Reduced to ashes and dust. Nobody knows who it was that planted the hundreds of bombs around the TVA, but it can be assumed that they died either in the explosion or the resulting fire. Only five people managed to escape: Ravonna Renslayer, Mobius M. Mobius, Hunter B-15, Sylvie Laufeydottir, and Loki Laufeyson.

Learning to survive in a place where everyone knows who Loki is, is difficult. Grieving the ones who lost their lives in the TVA's demise is a lost and hard process. Not to mention, Loki's feeling something towards Mobius that he doesn't like, nor can he explain what it is.

But he doesn't like it. At all.
