This story starts with an anonymous letter: "Rookwood is back."
Sunan Saelee is not like other sixth-years at Hogwarts. He's a late-bloomer and only started at Hogwarts a year ago, but he has already earned a reputation by defeating the notorious second-in-command of Victor Rookwood's criminal enterprise.
But little else is known about Sunan - his family, his life before Hogwarts, and how he came to wield an ancient and powerful form of magic that the Wizarding World has considered lost for centuries.
With Victor Rookwood's mysterious disappearance, Sunan expects his second year at Hogwarts to be a quiet one - that is, until he finds out that Rookwood is back and coming for him, and the Ministry of Magic intends to dig deep into his past.
