Hitoshi Shinsou has a dream, a dream to be a great hero. The only problem is she was born a girl and in her family, a female hero is a curse. She is defined by her parts, those that she was born with. Yet her dreams are too big for her parents to stop, a deal is made, a plan set in motion, her dream coming true, but only......if she binds her true identity as a girl.

Part IV: Shinsou Shinsou Hitoshi doesn't remember his birth parents. Apparently, they gave him up when he was a newborn. He likes to imagine they were good people, good people who couldn't take care of a child and gave him away in the hope that it would give him the best chance at life. They couldn't know how badly it would go for him. That's what he liked to think. Shinsou Hitoshi had a very strange friend (well, ok, most of his friends were very strange, but Silver was Weird). But when they're asked to do projects on their families and he's partnered with her, it seems like a cool idea to ask her if she can find anything about his birth parents. Shinsou always wanted to be a hero despite being told he has a villain Quirk throughout his life. Now he's been in the Hero Course for two months, and feels that hope weakening, knowing he's the reason Kaminari and Sero's friendship is ruined. Bakugo doesn't make him feel any better with his unexplained hatred of him-but if Shinsou's being honest, he doesn't like him either. Not when he knows Bakugo told Midoriya to go take a swan-dive off of the roof of a building to get a Quirk in middle school. Things worsen when an American transfer joins class 1-A and comes to the same conclusion everyone does about him in one day -because Shinsou proved her right. As emptiness swallows him whole like a casket shutting out the light, he considers that maybe Bakugo had a point on how to get a Quirk to become a hero. What he doesn't consider, is that Bakugo would not only stop him, but the two would be stuck together by All Might's word because of Shinsou's very decision. In which Shinsou Hitoshi is a selective mute who hates burdening others trying to become a hero, and gives up after failing to get a different Quirk via a swan-dive. Or, a deeper bisection on how Quirks put expectations on their metahuman wielders, especially those who get viewed as villains for a power they didn't ask to be born with. That explodes into a tale of two men learning to love each other and themselves :) THIS IS NOT A CHARACTER X READER/SELF-INSERT. Warnings: Suicide attempt and thoughts.
