I'm a big fan of the original SAO series and light novels. This is a different look at the original SAO premise. 

Michelle a 16 year old student who doesn't particularly like her life at the moment discovers SAO a VRMMORPG (virtual reality) game that is due to be released. Hoping to escape her everyday life she buys this game only to discover something sinister.

It seems practically impossible to most people, with so many floors to beat it feels almost pointless trying... But Kaito refuses to stop and will keep on going and his best friends, Otashi and Rikka, alongside his new friend, Koharu, might see Kaito as the very motivation they need to keep going. Kaito and Koharu (And occasionally Rikka and Otashi) will make their way through perilous dangers, scary dungeons, and trembling tensions if escape is going to be an option that can even chosen for them.
