This quote has been said and repeated many times throughout history. It represents Enterprise with her being the spearhead in exploration and documentation of new lifeforms in the Milky Way galaxy. But what if we took that and turned it up to 11? 

After the incident involving Krall on Starbase Yorktown and the rebuilding of the Enterprise, the trusty crew and their ship set off on new adventures. But unknowingly, a space-time anomaly similar to that of what happened to the Romulan ship which was destroyed years ago appears, absorbing the Enterprise while in warp. Now she finds herself in a strange new world similar but different to her own, with new life forms, the Kansen as well as the Sirens, dotting the planet. How will the famous USS Enterprise of Starfleet fare with this new world she finds herself transported to? And most importantly, can she find a way back?

But during battle, an unknown mysterious figure suddenly caused things to go badly awry, and their dimension becomes extremely unstable... With the remains of Azur Lane taking on the Sirens with their own technology, while the other side known as Crimson Axis, believed that they can take on the Sirens with borrowed technology from their enemies, the Sirens, to use it against them. However, there was a slight error forming within the very material that made them into here, the Mental Cubes. And that would soon be evident regarding the appearances of Ship-Boys, the opposites of Ship-Girls due to that error. How would the entire history of Azur Lane be changed ever so slightly thanks to that small error? Azur Lane is owned and created by Shanghai Manjuu, Xiamen Yongshi. Off the coast of Germany, three kansen sisters sailed in the darkness of the night. All three of them struck with curiosity. Following the trail of anomalous signals, they encountered something - unusual. Something that was not supposed to be there. Something seemingly defying all logic. Among the three sisters, one of them was especially affected by the sheer wonder the anomaly seemed to emanate. Anti-Aircraft frigate FGS Hessen, the third and final ship of the Sachsen-class, is among the most advanced kansen the German Navy has to offer. And yet, her curiosity proved to be her mistake. Accidentally getting too close for comfort to the anomaly, she was subsequently pulled in - resulting in her getting separated from her sisters and stranded in a seemingly familiar, but still foreign world - the world of Azur Lane. Stranded in a world where the concepts of modern naval warfare have been turned upside down, will she adapt by utilizing her technological advantage to the fullest and perhaps find a way home - Or will she sink to the bottom of the ocean, forever abandoned in a world not her own? Disclaimer: This story has been written as a first-timer in the huge domain that is story writing. As such, expect amateur/beginner-typical mistakes in plot and writing, as I still have much to learn/perfect. Update: Greetings! If you read this, it means the story has been completed. In the future, if I have the time, I will use what I have learned to rewrite this story in order to eliminate grammar mistakes, correct (but not completely change) a few plot elements, and completely annihilate all parts where 'script format' is used. What if During the Battle of Santa Cruz, Hornet's ship was towed by the Sakura Empire shipgirls back to Mainland Japan so they could improve the AA guns of there own ships and so they could also deploy Medium Range Bombers from there Aircraft Carrier shipgirls, with the Sakura Empire removing Hornet's memories, and gave her a new name so she could serve there navy due to her improved intelligence and fighting capabilities that could surpass there very own Kansen By 1944 she was about to be launched until Shinano came to announce that she saw the future and what is there destiny and with this information they decided to put her asleep so she could be used in the future by The Sakura Empire to fight the sirens After many years, Amagi found and woke her up and serve's under Amagi's wing (This will be set during WW2 and Before Amagi died due to the malfunction of her wisdom cube) (Azur Lane isn't mine it belongs to it's original owners)

USS Enterprise (CV-6), a floating city of steel. After a stellar service career in World War 2. She was decommissioned in 1958. She's the only ship that earned 20 battle stars. And a presidential unit citation. In an alternate world war 2 timeline. She was called into action along with other ship girls to fight an alien race from another dimension called Sirens. They pushed away humanity from the high seas. Humanity formed an alliance called Azur Lane. The alliance consisted of all the major countries that fought each other during the second world war. Azur Lane was able to repulse the Sirens and brought back peace in the planet. At this point all of the ship girls returned to their normal state. Some went back to the very waters where they were sunk. Others became ship museums. The ones turned into museums were considered the lucky ones. But not for Enterprise. Her scrapping is inevitable. The fight for her to be turned into a ship museum failed. And majority of her steel was used to build USS Enterprise (CVN-65). But somehow her ship girl form suddenly resurfaces in a time when a ninth ship bearing her name has been successfully built and launched. She will also meet her daughter who was made from majority of her steel. Once again the Sirens threatened humanity in the present time. The ship girls from the past have been recalled back into action. Many of the nations thought that Enterprise will never be seen again. That was until she's seen serving as a member of the US Secret Service under a new name and identity. Will she go back to her original duties or will she remain working for the Secret Service? Welcome to Azur Lane High, a school where ship girls of all nations engage together in fierce training to do battle one day out on the open seas. Honing their skills and perfecting abilities. But right now the bigger problems they gotta face is school life and the problems that come with it. Such as, getting girlfriends, the social order of how popular you are, where you fit in, and most importantly making friends (if you can). In addition to actually doing school work, like homework, passing tests, those good old school projects, etc. First we're gonna follow 4 girls. Javelin, Laffey, Ayanami, and Z23 on their adventure together. (Of course there will be other ships but they won't be the stars sadly. But they will make appearances! When they relate to our 4 main characters). Just know that the school Azur Lane High has just been newly created and so, there will be nationalism coming into play as well as segregation bias and feelings. Ayyy it's just like real life where everyone technically is segregated and hang in the same groups that relate to them huh? Also, even though it's called Azur Lane High we got pre-k to High School students. Of course I want everyone included. Your welcome ;)
