A box filled with audio cassettes, the player still functioning. In these recordings, past lives are in motion, voices from a distance that are unrecognizable, unknown famous people make memories never to be lost. They all tell a story of a place no one talks about anymore. It all feels like a world forgotten and lost, yet it is closer than you think. The smell of fear hangs like cobwebs over the old recordings, you're not sure whether you're hallucinating about it or not. In these tapes lies the truth about what happened to all the people who are still missing today. But if you never listened to them, you would never wonder who they are, right? ___ not my pictures. english is not my first language, you'll notice. tw.
