They figured they could get rid of the threat and bring them back, what they didn't account for was that the threat would find them before they could. 12 years later they get call from one of their closet allies saying they have the triplets, they expect this could be a fresh start and that they would be getting they're bubbly triplets back not expecting them to remember everything they said and did the day they were sent away.
