RAVEN

Before I could blink, the monster was on top of me, sinking its jagged teeth into my arm. I screamed in pain, trying to get it off me with the little bit of strength I had left. I finally landed a blow to the undead creature, sending it stumbling backwards. Scrambling to my feet, I swayed back and forth, unable to stand properly due to the blood loss. With every step, I felt like my legs were about to give out. I couldn't go on much longer, not like this.
I tapped the watch on my wrist, waiting for the holographic menu to appear so I could call for backup. "Come on, come on..." I muttered, hitting the piece of technology. A faint light came on the screen every few seconds but quickly fizzed out afterward. I quickly glanced behind myself, praying silently that the monster would be knocked out, only to see it a hair away from my face.
