Charlie was believed dead; bleeding out on the W.I.C.K.E.D floor. Gally was left behind with a spear in his chest. Only a handful of Gladers escaped with their lives. 

But we're they? Are they dead? It might have been better if they were.

W.I.C.K.E.D has their hands on Charlie now. Gally was picked up by a raiding party. The Gladers on the run in the scorch, Ava Page and Janson and Cranks on their heels...how much worse can it get? 

What if there was betrayal and back stabbing? Kidnapping, an evil organization and an incurable disease.
