What Compels the Light (Hogwarts Legacy)

Liliana Calloway, the youngest daughter of the Calloway family, has survived a troublesome year of impeding the destruction of several dark wizard leaders who sought to cause chaos, and saving all of the Scottish Highlands from Goblin dictatorship. However, her heroic actions not only put a major target on her back but also happen to be why she must keep a massive secret from her friends: she absorbed the magic from the repository.
As Lili returns to endure what she hopes to be a normal sixth year with her two best friends, Ominis Gaunt and Sebastian Sallow, she begins to feel the weight of preparing for her desired occupation,
living up to her gifted title:'Slytherin Savior', and understanding the consequences of her decision. The once calming sensation of her ancient magic abilities has now shifted into a fiery sensation that feeds off Lili's strongest emotions. It's only a matter of time before such emotion-driven power rewrites her mind entirely.
Along with emotion-driven magic threatening to permanently take control, a new student joins Hogwarts as a sixth year: Arcus Dawson. The ruthless, brooding Ravenclaw despises Liliana and makes it evident from day one.
A 'normal sixth-year' quickly shifts into a dangerous journey through dark wizard camps, skeptical villages, uncovering research that's over a decade old, and the biggest challenge: uniting with her archrival. With time running out, Lili has to ask herself how far she's willing to go or lose her entirely.

This story follows the player character's fifth year of Hogwarts where Sebastian was not turned into the ministry and the magic in the repository was taken. This will include spoilers for the game, and some quotes are taken from the game's story.
The main FMC and MMC are primarily 16-17 in this story, therefore, intimate descriptions will mostly be fluff.
