"Don't tell anybody about this." "If you just ignore it, it'll stop." "There's nothing I can do to help you." And so I did everything I was told. I shut up. I put on a brave face. I followed all the rules. But that was the past and it's not who I am anymore. I will be loud. I will be angry. I will tell the truth. Look what you've done. DISCLAIMER: This is my side of the story and, with the exception of a few voicemails/text messages/statements from friends, it all comes straight from my memory. As is the case with most PTSD brains, my memory isn't very good so I can't 100% confirm the accuracy of anything, but it is written almost exactly as I remember it. I never believed it would end like this. I was just watching Netflix when the power went out, then before I knew it everyone was screaming, then the school began to shake and fell to the ground. Only three kids in my entire school were spared, four if you count me. I found a group of people heading to the east coast for a boat trip to a supposed safe haven in India. They died of disease days later. I found their bodies by the river. But I guess this is my life now, surviving with a scared boy, a pair of twins and trying to make it to the next day. (Sequel to "Why me?") I still have nightmares. It's been years, I've tried to move on yet they still haunt me. No matter what I do nothing can fix it. I still don't understand why anyone would treat an innocent soul as foul as they did mine. I sit awake at night wondering, what did I ever do to deserve such a thing? I lost myself somewhere between space and time. I repeated my name over and over, refusing to leave myself behind. I don't deal well when I'm pissed sometimes I'll punch a wall, thats weird isn't? Bad start anyway my parents are abusive and aren't the parents someone would wish for. Everything about me is abnormal from to my family, to my looks and even my own species. My whole life is technically abnormal. Things can only get worse as my life continues. Also I was only 13 when I wrote this story so if it's bad then don't read it at all. Not my fault you don't like this story. Theres several issues with it and plenty of plot holes and wrong details.
