Way of The Wand

In Edoh, where witchcraft and wizardry are different and competing forms of magic, the prevalent notion is that witchcraft is the lesser art. The prejudice stems from a simple difference- Witches require wands, brooms and other mediums to perform magic, while wizards do not.
When Jira, who comes from a long line of wizards, quits her family's school of wizardry to study witchcraft, she is disowned. Now a full-fledged witch with her own school of witchcraft, her mother returns to challenge her to a competition between their two schools to prove once and for all which form of magic is greater.
