Both Sonic and Shadow are in their late twenties and live together. Shadow is learning and adjusting to his new lifestyle with his partner, Sonic, who has suffered a head injury that has caused him to become impulsive, and obsessed with Shadow. 

Behind closed doors Sonic just wants love and attention from Shadow, but when faced with other characters he can become an unpredictable menace.

Shadow feels as if it's his fault for Sonics injury. 
Was it Shadow's fault? Or will he discover the truth?

I originally made the story as a short story which was the first chapter of this story however I soon decided to make it have its own book as it is hard to make this into only 2 parts! Shadow isn't too happy with the situation, and learns to cope as he journeys with the two- encountering other characters and monsters as they search for a way to break their curse. Not long though, Shadow starts to see the weight of the trauma held on Sonic's shoulders as he struggles to contain his werehog form. -Contains multi shipping The story's main focus is the development between Sonic and Shadow's relationship, with a side story ship between Silver and Espio. (One sonilver scene. One shadilver scene) I only write about healthy relationships. -Ages: Shadow(27), Sonic (26), Silver(24), Espio (25).The rest of the characters have been aged up appropriately and all above 18.
