[just a heads up! This is a rewrite of my original book, 'Finding Fresh Air' on my page. This version is a bit different story wise, but I still recommend reading this is you have read my other already, there will be lots of changes made as well. But it's kinda the same main story line with much more added.]


After weeks of searching for a Little kid you were close to, Chara, they had finally showed up. But not alone.

Monsters roamed the city and it was hard for everyone to adapt, some people hated them, and others didn't mind. Y/n however didn't seem to have an opinion right away. She was dealing with so much at one time it was hard to think of anything else. 

Her life trend was one bad thing after another.

Soon she would get the peace she desired, by meeting new friends, reuniting with old, and meeting the monster who would steal her heart.All Rights Reserved

What if there was an anomaly in the Underground? No, not Frisk. Not Chara either. Someone else entirely. How could a few measly children stand to this supposedly immortal foe and save the Underground from destruction? Is it even possible to do so? Only one way to tell... ~o0o~ Disclaimers before you start! •There is NO fanon ships. That means no Soriel, Papyton, etc. The only ships are Torgore (in the past) and Alphyne. •This is NOT an x reader. I heavily dislike those types of stories. The reader will have no part in this. •This exists outside of canon to an extreme. For example, Frisk is the second human and not the eighth. •There will be OCs, but only for a few humans and they still technically exist in normal Undertale. •There is a sequel. I'm planning on rewriting it after this one, as it is much more random and definitely needs it. Clanky, plot holes/retconning, etc. It's more of an OC thing, to explore them and their issues, than an Undertale thing, but it has its similarities. •There will be some explicitives. It won't be unnecessary or excessive, only when it fits the situation and character. I will not be using any slurs, as that's just plain disrespectful, even if some of them apply to me. This is the story of Undertale. Everything goes along perfectly normal like it does in the game, with Asriel and Chara meeting, they make the pie for their dad, he recovers from the flowers, Chara dies... Though there is a change. When Asriel goes to the surface to lay Chara's dead body on the flower bed in the middle of the human village, and he gets attacked, he turns back before he dies. And this one, simple, turn of events, changes everything Okaay so, this is an old book. Nearly two years now, tho I don't remember the exact time I started it. Thing is old me didn't know how to write stories very well, and so in my supposed free time starting in a week or two I'm gonna try to edit this so I can feel a lil better about it. The only thing y/n could do was see outside the window, and even that wasn't good enough for them. The door was aways locked and there was no way for y/n to get help from anyone... Until one Day...

Sans is 130 which basically means he's 13 in monster years. Papyrus is 160 and toriel is 170 aka 17. Undyne is also 170. Mettaton is a girl. Alphys is 160.

Although she's a wonderful person, she gets caught up in the wrong crowd. This was starting to break her, until her favorite little girl, Chara introduced her to the skeleton brothers, Papyrus and sans. Sans always had a way to bring a smile to y/n's face, and Papyrus was always there for her, had the best advice, and his stupid puns that he called 'humerus'. After some unfortunate events with your 'most trusted' people you knew, Papyrus knew just how to help, but what happens if feelings get caught up in the middle of all of this?
