||Book 2, please read Dauntless Initiate, before reading this one. This book picks up exactly where the other one left off for Tempest|| ||I own nothing except for Tempest, all of her plotlines, and some very minor characters that won't appear very often.|| ||Set in The Son by Veronica Roth, and takes place two years or so, before the book Divergent begins.|| ||There will be some potentially triggering topics, such as underaged drinking, swearing, mentions of physical and mental abuse. You have been warned|| Tempest has officially made it into Dauntless and has left her old life, old identity, and former faction of Abnegation behind her. She has made a friend or two among the Dauntless and although she still definitely prefers to always be able to walk alone at the best of times it is clear that she has begun to slowly open up. Even if it ended up being to one of the people that used to be one of the members of the faction, that she was raised to hate, with every bone in her body. When she gets visited in her quiet apartment by Max, one of the five Dauntless leaders, she gets an offer that she was shocked to hear. Because even if she had been ranked first... who would have ever thought, that the willowy, clearly under-fed girl from Abnegation, could ever become a candidate for any faction leadership position? Let alone the faction that was mainly only just formed to protect the city around them, from any and all threats? ||Follows the events of 'The Son' by Veronica Roth and my own plotlines entirely after that. || Highest ranking: #9 in protection ⚔️ #1 in A Court Of Thorns and Roses🌹 #7 in Sarah J Maas 🧝🏼‍♀️ || "What?" Rhys asked, frowning at Mor. She shrugged, "by the looks of it, your going to be a father soon." Darkness exploded through the room. Cutting out my vision, it seeped through the windows, blocking out any visible light. Calloused hands pressed down against my shoulders, holding me in place. Soothing talons scraped down my mental barriers, trying to pry them open. I could feel his presence through the dark, feel the warmth of his body as he stood in front of me. The darkness subsided to uncover the violet stare of Rhysand eyes gazing down at me. Talons scraped at my mental walls once more before he spoke down our bond, Is this true? I looked to my mate, "Yes." He receded a few steps, stumbling over his words, "how?" "Well, when a mummy and a daddy love each other very much-" "HOW?" He snapped, cutting me off. Sighing, I relaxed my wings, exhausted from today's events, and let them slide to the floor. "A witch put a spell on me," I muttered, unable to make eye contact, "one which I think changed the year I was living in." *** Feyre is the Hight Lady of the Night Court. Living out her life, she thought it was going to be a prefect happily ever after with her only struggles being breaking the news to her mate about her pregnancy. Little did she know the darkness looming within the background, waiting to strike. "You're joking.", I asked in pure disbelief. His eyes held the answer I didn't want to see. The look of regret. "I'm sorry darling. But the marriage will be fulfilled. Follows story line of the ACOTAR series.... picks off right after ACOSF, so of course spoilers are meant to be said in this story. For people who haven't read ACOTAR, read at your own risk, but fair warning you might be just a tad bit confused. ALSO... I will not be trashing any character, expect for assholes like Beron and his sons (expect for Eris). STORY DESCRIPTION: Gwyneth Berdara has spent her last year still not being able to leave that gods-damned library. She wants to leave, but every time she is about to reach the outside world, she freezes and goes back to Sangravah. She tells herself that she is safe, she is in Velaris, but nothing works. She feels as if she's still stuck in the same place from when she entered the library two years ago. One incident makes her leave the Night Court and into another court. How will she react? Azriel was there in Sangravah, but he had arrived too late. Ever since the incident, Azriel has been slipping farther and farther away from his family. He doesn't know why the incident had been eating away at him, it wasn't his first time failing at his job. Azriel finds shocking news that he must keep from Gwyn. The plot line derives somewhat from the initial description. P.S. : I do not own this art, I just made it as my cover! Same thing goes for the characters, Sarah J Maas, wrote these character from scratch. Except for my OC!
