Our main character moves into a ritzy apartment when she takes a writer-in-residence fellowship at a local university. She discovers that she shares an elevator and hallway with a celebrity, whom she likens to a wild stallion on the verge of bolting. A power outage dictates unwilling interaction between the two. They do a delicate dance of getting to know one another, while negotiating a burgeoning attraction. This work has no infidelity in it. It's just a frothy celeb fantasy with a little bit of heat. It's written in first person from one character's point of view. The title refers to what TMWillson said to me as I struggled to write. Please don't read if you are squicked by RPF. Thank you.

That sweet haven is short-lived however when another occupant in the mansion demands something from her she vowed never to give. Haunted by her troubling past, she is determined to stay true to herself until she is left with no other choice but to succumb to his unrelenting pursuit. Would this encounter finally be the happily ever after she longed for or another disappointment to add to her growing list? *This is not your typical love story, made up of flowers, rainbows and everything nice. This is not your boy meets girl, falls in love and leave happily ever after. Let's not hide behind the cliches. we all know it doesn't work like that in real life. This story is as real as it gets* **editing gradually.
