Nearly 200 years have past since the war of the Sandwing Succession. The world is at peace, tribes have been able to trade and progress. An Icewing Prince leaves his home on a mission to the Rainwing and Nightwing kingdom. There he will make many friends and form connections he never thought was possible... yet little did he know the whole world would be changed in a weeks time. Nothing would ever be the same again.
This is book 1 of what will be 4 books. This is an au where I will explore what happens after magic was taken from the world and basically what takes place once the DoD are nothing more than footnotes in history books.

This book is a little outdated and will be getting a rewrite soon! ------------------ Fighting, dragons were always fighting in the Rainforest. Not physically, but verbally. The Rainforest Kingdom was being torn apart by its residents. The RainWing's and NightWing's. Queen Dandelion and King Palmtree are doing nothing to calm down their tribe, so, someone else has to. Lavender is an seven year old dragonet who belongs to both tribes. She's a hybrid, born from her RainWing mother and NightWing father. Her life is wonderful, at least in her family and small village close to the edge of the Rainforest. But, she's starting to notice the change within everyone, as if they know something is coming, something bad. Lavender wants to keep her kingdom safe, just like all dragons do, but she also wants to keep everyone connected and stop them from being torn apart. Will she be able to fix the ties that brought the RainWing's and NightWing's together? Or will they be split apart and she'll be stuck between torn sides. ------------------------ The Wings of Fire series is written by Tui T. He hates his stupid fate and the stupid NightWing that threw him into this mess. When he finds out the prophecy was fake all along, he's more than happy to give up. He wants nothing more than to go home and see his mother, especially after all that's happened. But Hare manages to be convincing enough, and the last thing he wants is to have to live in fear of losing his mother to the war. Both groups of dragonets have lived their entire lives in a lie, but one will end the war and make Pyrrhia the continent it was before.
