Absolute Zero
Mordecaii couldn't take it anymore: the constant teasing at school, his lame backstabbing friends, his travel-holic, abusive-but-thankfully-rarely-there stepdad, his 'I'm-sorry-I'm-late-I-needed-to-pull-an-extra-shift' mom, his internet-and-phone obsessed older sister... no one cared. So he decided to end it all, thanks to a mixture of his mom's pain pills from her surgery and his sister's stomach meds. But when he wakes up inside what looks like a clean room with a man named Michael and the choice between ending his life or saving it and the race that saves the world, what will he do?
