When humans brag about bravery as a symbol of heroism, how can one reign over the absence of the said trait?

Situated just in between heaven and hell, Vasberania is hailed as a first class city of Myangrata. And Morian VII, outstanding and skilled, shined as the top student in pastry and culinary arts. She can bring to the table any dishes the customers want except for one thing: sweets.

Her versatility ends when the latter comes into the picture, resulting in her title as always second to her classmate, Amber. As much as she wants to extend her skills, her severe allergy will likely cause a whirlpool of doom inside her body. However, she doesn't mind being second. Hell, she doesn't care about any ranks. Challenge, risk, and sacrifice are words she loathes other than the cause of her allergy.

There is a striking incident, unfortunately. The Clover Berry, a sour candy made by a rising company, has dominated Vasberania due to claims of having healing properties. This sparked her curiosity but wasn't enough to make her risk tasting it. But due to Amber's scheme, Morian VII ingested the Clover Berry without her knowledge. It was too late for her to realize when she started developing CBY1 disease, an aftereffect of eating Clover Berry. And when she thought her life had become so much worse, a figure resembling that of a lion, took her to a place under Vasberania, the Submerged Doom. A place for nurturing young minds to be great heroes--keepers of the gates of hell.
