One of the writers at Alina Seth's local newspaper has temporarily left to go overseas to Dubai. The paper is in need of someone to fill the position and the column in the sports page. They ask a veteran journalist, Tom Charles, to find someone to fill the spot. Alina gets the chance to do something with her otherwise boring life. And as she begins to cover her sport, horse racing, one horse comes along and changes the world.
