Sailor's Choice

A young boy lives in Manhattan Beach, California, and goes to Mira Costa High School. He lived a semi-normal life, like the other teenagers in 1980, but he was different. He's transgender and gay. One day he gets welcomed into the local weirdo band from his school, the Descendents. He begins to fall in love as he's in the band. Later, he soon realizes his band is going somewhere when people start noticing them after a show. As the band gets bigger, he grows more weary that someone will find out who he used to be. He's left with several choices, but he doesn't know what to take. He doesn't know if his love will ever see him in the way he does let alone if the band even accept him if they know the truth.
