(F/n) lays at death's feet until King Boo, the ruler of ghosts, unexpectedly saves her. 

However, this rescue comes at a cost, and she finds herself indebted to him. To repay the debt, she agrees to become his royal servant until it is paid off. 

Adjusting to her new life in this otherworldly realm, (F/n) begins to question whether she wants to return to her old life once her debt is settled or if she wants to stay in this new world. 

Despite the fear and uncertainty of serving the ghostly monarch, she sees him as a complex character with his struggles and desires. As she gets closer to him, she wonders if there is a chance for something more than just a debt repayment arrangement.
