Saving Her Sanity (Tony Stark x OC!Stephanie Richards)

Stephanie and Tony have been best friends for years. They grew up together since both of their fathers were best friends since they were young adults. They lost contact for a couple of years when Stephanie had disappeared behind the scenes after their first argument when they were 18. She popped back into his life for a split second before disappearing again when she made her sister, Sophia RIchards, the face of Richards Corporation, a big player in the medical industry. Tony didn't see Stephanie for a decade until Nick Fury introduced the female into the Avengers initiative. When he thought he had her once again, she disappears for two years to join the Army.

When she came back, she was no longer herself. She was broken, damaged. Anything made her jump and soon, the hold on her powers let loose. She no longer had control over her powers and Tony's girlfriend, Pepper Potts, was not happy.

Stephanie has been in love with the billionaire for years but won't say anything to jeopardize his relationship with Pepper. The rest of the Avengers disagree with her, saying she needs to tell him how she feels before it's too late and she gets hurt in the process.

Tony has been told the same thing but in his head, he keeps telling himself, Stephanie would never feel the same way.
