It's the summer of 1959 when a group of five kids set out to find the dead body of a kid named Ray Brower. They lived in a small town called Castle Rock. Everybody knew everybody and everybody knew everyone's secrets.
There was Teddy DuChamp who was the craziest among the five kids.
There was Vern Tessio who most everybody picked on.
There was Gordon LaChance, the talented writer who lost his older brother Dennis in a jeep accident.
There was Chris Chambers, he came from a bad family and everyone just knew he'd turn out bad.
Finally there was Alexis Merrill, the younger sister to Ace Merrill who was the leader of The Cobra's.
They were all the best of friends and would do anything for each other. Chris and Alexis were very close to each other. After all Chris was the one that understood her the most. They both came from bad families and wanted nothing more than to escape. It was clear to most everyone that they were in love, but not even they could see the connection between them.
Love is a natural thing. Most everyone experiences love at least once in their lives. But what happens when the two kids with the worst reputation in Castle Rock fall in love? Will Alexis be able to convince Chris that he's not as horrible as people say he is?
Or will Chris forever be known as just another low life Chambers kid?
