In New York City, Alix lives a fast-paced, stressful life in high finance. One night, while rushing to a meeting, he discovers a woman in an empty alley, surrounded by an unnatural purple aura that fades into nothing. The woman's name is Exxa and she seems to be responsible for inexplicable events that erode Alix's personal and professional life. Exxa presents him with a choice. Follow her into the strange phenomenon on the outskirts of the city or be left behind in a world which is falling apart.

Alix's choice will change everything. Little does he know that on the other side of the universe, a civil war is being waged between two opposing forces on the planet Cryloid. The hostile and ravenously greedy Torians are destroying Cryloid by excavating its most precious resource- underground creatures that maintain a balance for all life on the planet.
