To Dream Of A Simpler Life

High in the mountains of a large valley Sun Summit sits amongst the clouds. Surrounded by cliffs and forests, bordered by a glistening river, it is rather isolated. This is exactly the reason Celeste Devlin sought it out, however. She had wanted to escape from the crowded, busy streets of the nearby cities, eventually finding her way to the small cliff side village.
Despite her best efforts, though, she is shunned by the community, who holds older beliefs against her kind and magic. They reject her, refuse her services (at least publicly), and avoid the small cottage in the woods where she resides. Yet, this does not discourage her. She has her doubts, but she refuses to give up on them so easily.
Her only solace is the elderly woman and her grandson, both living on the outskirts of the village. But what will she do when he falls ill? How will she handle being blamed for disappearances nearby that she had no part in?
