Our story begins in a dying world. The sun hangs low, pale and faint, and the wind is bitter and cold. Monsters and sickness alike have pushed people into Wandering Cities, safe havens amongst the wasteland the world has become. And nothing is as it seems- the cities breathe, the land shifts, and reality twists in unruly ways. Amongst it all, an old world sits forgotten, most archives of its history simply gone. In the corpses of this buried world, whispers flow about, and in the fraying weave of the old and rotten Wastes, shines an unknowable light.

Gillain is a prince, or so the King of Muln calls him. In all honesty, he's a monster, a patchwork thing made from the scraps of a dead boy of the same name. There's a difference between a monster like Gillian and the other sorts you may come to find. He is a good person. It is only his dreams which crawl with taunting voices and lying songs, something he can never seem to avoid. And at a certain point, they crawl farther than his sleep, and tragedy strikes the boy's haven in the city of Muln. Without much of a choice, he flees, hoping the Wastes can be his new home.

Vara is lost, even though she may be exactly where her home once sat. Now, however, it is but decimated and ruined, and she can barely remember why. All she knows is that being alone has started to get to her, and she just wishes to no longer face the wreckage of her city by herself. And then, a shooting star drops from the clouds, and with it comes a stranger in black. A secretive man, but he's at least a man. More of a man than the patchworks that have begun to hunt her down, at least. A man willing to help and protect her.

Weaver & the Wight is the first in the Unweaving by E B Nookes. It is an introduction of sorts, both to the Cities that wander this whimsically dark world, and those few that dare venture out into the churning wastelands beyond them.

In the future, there is no medicine that can save you. The government is gone. The days are hot, and the dangers many. Welcome to the continent of Aotearoa. The country of Gossfordshire is in crisis - the King is dead, his children are being murdered, and trade with their neighboring country Motueka has dried up leaving Gossfordshire on the brink of starvation. Ritty, the King's son, seeks to restore the peace and bring Gossfordshire back to its glory days, but his efforts are increasingly hampered by Randall, the head councilman-come-dictator, who sets out to bring the kingdom under his control. Also stifling Rittys goals of normalcy is Magnus, aided by councilwoman Thatcher, who sees a much more egalitarian vision for the future of Gossfordshire. Between Randall's aim of national domination, Rittys want for normality, Thatcher and Magnus's revolution, and a mass migration crisis moving upwards from the Southern States, only one thing can be certain; Gossfordshire is entirely unprepared for what is coming. I do not own WH40k, Arknights, Azur lane, or references to other franchises, or Halo for that matter. I don't own star wars either. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- You lost, The Darkness Encroaches upon the other Dimensions, No longer contained and held at bay by the Imperium, with the Imperium scattered and Fractured, in the wake of the Newley crowned Emperor's (Y/n's) Disappearance through the Golden slip space rupture.. While Remnants of the Imperium and its vassals still fight on, to do what they can, they are mostly leaderless, with the only surviving members of the Royal Family being Y/n's younger siblings, Chris(tina) and Pyre, and his twin, Selene. yet all is not lost, A Search Begins, a Hunt ends, Legends will be proven true, while old myths come back to the chessboard, Will Dawn or Dusk Yield? The Ark Of War Begins, and with it, the Pendulum swings... And you are the Catalyst. Yes, I am not good at book covers. No, this is not an official work, like my last story, simply a fanfic, with added elements. Trails of darkness, Is no longer canon in my fanfic's lore. I do not own any of the videos or pictures used in the making of this Fanfic series, and all content goes to original creators. This is the real first book of the series, the prequel will be modified to fit the lore established in THIS book. Also, some of the grammar in the first few chapters is . . . Questionable, to say the least, but please ignore my rushing to get chapters out at first, because it gets better later on.

**WARNING** ~contains explicit content that may not be acceptable to all viewers. discretion advised~ "No no no no..." My words trailed "NO!!" I screamed, pulling harshly at all my restraints, attempting to get free, hearing the harsh clank of metal on metal with every movement. Colder than the table beneath me, chills ran through my body. This couldn't be happening, please. A sadistic laugh rang through the room and my head fell in defeat as my eyes squinted closed, not wanting to see his face. "Yes, actually." I felt his disgusting, filthy hands trail down my arms. I could feel him leaning forwards, moving himself closer to me. I couldn't bring myself to open my eyes, so I just lay there, waiting for what I knew was to come. "You're mine now, mut." His voice made my body tense more than it already had. The way he sounded so angry. So possessive. I dared myself to speak, "W-what ar-are you gonna d-do to me?" My voice shook and wavered so much in my fear that it was numb to my ears. Alpha Dave let out a low, calloused chuckle that sent chills throughout my body. He said, in a deadly low voice, "I'm going to remind you who you belong to." * DISCLAIMER- In this story world, each person gets five potential mates! * Blake Daniels' story has been one tragedy after another, Complications littering his route, tripping him on his journey through life. At this point, he's entirely disgusted by his Complacency. For as long as he can remember, he has been at the whim of everyone's desires, neglecting his own. Today was supposed to be one of the happiest days of my life. The day when I say 'I do' and join myself to my mate for the rest of our lives. However that's drowned out by what's still missing. Myself. I stare at my reflection in the mirror and it's almost like I can see the part of me that's missing. Rafe has claimed that he doesn't care that I can't reach my wolf, that it's a problem that we will solve, that everything will be alright. He can't help me with this though. The Moon Goddess told me it was up to me and me alone, she's given me clues, only I still have no idea what to do. I feel like my soul has been lost along with my wolf, and even though Rafe smiles and kisses me and tells me it's alright, I can't help but think that he's somehow disappointed in me. Disappointed that I can't be what he needs. He needs a Luna, and right now, that's not who I am. And I'm worried that the pack sees that too. I won't give up hope though. I won't stop trying until I've found Kali, until I've found my Luna. ******************** The dust has settled following Rafe and Katarina's recovery. However, neither one of them have been able to relax. Rafe is still on edge about Nolan and the other rogues still running free, and Katarina is consumed with the dread of her missing wolf. She's scared of the unknown and at the moment, the unknown surrounds her. Her child, her wolf, what she and her mate are. All of it is new to her and none of it is normal. Whatever that's supposed to be. Katarina has decided that she won't rest until she finds her wolf again. She will search for her no matter the cost, but when that cost could be her child or mate, will she truly do whatever it takes? Maybe the Moon Goddess has a twisted sense in fate. Or maybe it's other forces working against her. Find out in Finding My Luna Cover inspired by @_iiiinfinity_

Well met wanderer! You have stumbled upon a world weaver, a strange and rare being that draws the thread of stories from the maw of the void for your delight and entertainment. And boy do I have something for you. Before you is a story about a world in which magic has appeared for the very first time and Atef, the protagonist is its first wielder. This LitRPG adventure will follow his path and all associated events with the aid of DICE. As a true world weaver I wanted to innovate upon the established practice of LitRPG and add a new layer to it which will shape up the story in a free-flowing manner by adding randomness. I've tied Atef's progression and future key events to dice rolls whose previews are available on Patreon a week before the new episode is out. They will be related to his magic skills, madness, secret roll, special events and many others to come. Please note that the first 7 episodes of the story are introductory and the progression starts as of episode 8. I will post the rolls for the next week's episode and this week's episode every Friday 8 p.m. ET (which is 5 p.m. PT) and I will always strive to stick to this schedule. Finally, please note that I am writing about a world which is going to go through a tremendous change because of what Atef has discovered, but I am also writing a story about finding oneself, growing and learning whilst fighting problems which are both external and internal. I intend to write this story for a long time to come and I would appreciate if you could stick around and support me along the way. I have a lot of ideas for its future and I must say I am really excited and I hope you will be excited with what I am putting out as well! Expect it to be a slow burn, mixing in high stakes and side events, lots of characters and intense world building. Alas, it is a world touched by magic for the very first time! Enjoy every line, paragraph and episode of it!

Selectively mute, she refuses to tell her hosts from whence she came and her name. For lack of knowing what else to do, the crotchety old woman and her grandson Mat grant her sanctuary and take to calling her Snow. But her very existence disrupts their daily lives. The mystery comes to a head when a dead man is discovered in the front yard after the first serious thaw. Strangers turned ragtag confidants, they dispose of the body.
