Mayve Foster, a young teen moved to a small isolated town in South America with her father John not long after the passing of her mother, Marie who died from an unforeseen sickness. Or so they thought.
a few years after her mother died, Mayve had gotten used to the routine that she was now the carer for her now alcoholic father. After a heated argument with him, she noticed that even though it was mid winter, butterflies begun to appear out of nowhere. Thinking nothing of it, Mayve continues with her life. 24 hours after the initial sightings, butterflies begun to attack the townspeople, leaving every one of them unconscious. However, Mayve and the one kid she despises, Levi are the only ones that haven't been bitten. Why? she doesn't know..
