His parents beat on him, neglect him, he gets bullied at school for being quirkless, and so on.
So then he decides to jump off the school building.
Luckily, he survives and meets a wonderful person who helps him through his depression and anxiety.

Izuku Mugen, formally Yagi never had a happy life. His father, Hisashi Midoriya, died before he was born. His mother, Inko(Xtreme) married Toshinori Yagi(All Might) and had a daughter called Izumi. His Mother Inko(Green Storm), his Step-father Toshinori(All Might), his step-sister Izumi and his friends (1A) turned their backs on him. The only ones who were nice to him were his uncles and aunties. At the age of 14 he was saved by his biological father and exposed what Inko and Toshinori did. Hisashi won Izuku custody. It would've been years before they come face-to-face with their lost former family member. Izuku Midoriya used to be a Yagi but that all changed when he was diagnosed quirkless. His life was miserable and his parents totally forgot about him completely like he didn't exist. His twin sister and her friends (1A) bully him he couldn't take it. He ran away from home and his family and friends realized their mistakes and wanted to ask for forgiveness. However, they couldn't find him at all years later at UA he showed up announced and he took OFA from All Might and he didn't acknowledge them at all. They saw him change a lot he is more confident, daring and doesn't take shit from no one. Izuku was in class listening to music when he heard his second phone buzzed as he answered and he gave his code and was beyond pissed that he broke the table and left the room. Iida tries to stop him but Izuku shoves his head into the wall making it a dent. He left as Izumi went to get her parents as Izuku went to get Eri and leave UA. After informing her parents, Mic told them that an unknown Flying craft is coming. They all rushed back to the dorms to see Izuku coming out from the dorms wearing the Red X outfit.
