A young woman from the former wealthy and free city "Evida" in East Blue gets in trouble: The Golden Age of Pirates is about to reach its peak, and a big bunch of pirates invaded her hometown. Robbery, acts of violence and even executions take place. Things escalate quickly, when the leader of these people "visits" Akiko and her parents in their bookshop and their daughter is on the run to save her own life. She is caught by the subordinates of the leader and is about to die when a stranger interrupts them with his sharp sword blade...
