Based on this prompt from tumblr: Imagine person A lightly tracing “I love you” over and over again on person B’s back, assuming that person B is asleep. When person A is lying on their back, getting ready to sleep, person B moves closer and wraps their arms around person A, whispering softly, “I love you too.” Bonus if that’s the first time person A has ever declared their love for person B. —@otpprompts

Roommates
Dean's about to start medical school and he has been assigned a dorm room. With a roommate. As he and Sam head up to his new room he gets an ominous warning from the guy down the hall about Dean's new roommate. It unnerves Sam, but Dean thinks the guy can't be that bad. Right? Dean and Sam grew up happy with BOTH parents in this one. I thought about how to approach this one for quite a while before I actually started writing it. I thought, how can I get this to make sense? Why would a roommate run away? And then this came to me. So, for those of you that don't know, I based a lot of Cas' personality, quirks, and traits on myself since I have Asperger's. While I don't color coordinate my shirts in the closet, they DO have to all face the same direction, and I have more sensory issues than I'll bore you with here. I mention Dean's sensory issues as well here. While he doesn't show actual traits of Asperger's, he's on the spectrum too, and people on the spectrum still have related issues. The bluntness of Cas' questions are something that I did more often when I was younger, and a reason why people singled me out as weird or a freak. I had great difficulty distinguishing between when people were joking and making fun of me (therefore people thought I was stupid, and I was called as much, despite my higher IQ), so I tended to keep to myself. I still have difficulty initiating conversations, and my reaction to going into places like the party that will be mentioned here is much the same as I made Cas react. Parallels, as you'll notice.Complete
What the Righteous Man Wanted (1 of 3)
"Cas, it's not going to break." Dean, just to prove it, stomps once, twice, three times against the ice. He even slams both feet down against it just for good measure, laughing when his foot slips and he crashes to the ice. "Dean!" Cas yelps, tears welling in his eyes and hands reaching for Dean. "Cas, I'm fine," Dean assures, moving to stand, eyes locked on Cas. Then the ice breaks, and Dean falls through. The last thing he sees is Cas' horrified face, helpless to stop him from falling before the cold hits him, stabbing the air from his lungs with fingers like knives and stealing every thought in his brain. He was pulled from the water that day, but later, he would remember the exhilaration of the ride and the joy of the laughter and the fear of the fall and the cold of the water, and he would think that that's what loving Cas has always felt like. A constant back and forth of laughter and cold, of warmth and sickness, of love and hate. Loving Cas has never been easy, but falling for him has always been the easiest thing in the world.Complete

Cas has a successful blog and he loves all of his readers. They're the reason he has done so well all these years, but after a sudden and painful breakup with his fiance, a video starts popping up all over every social media platform of his ex proposing to the man he left Cas for. It's painful the first ten times it came across one of his news feeds, but it's downright torture by the hundredth time, so when he reaches out to his fans via Twitter and pleads with them to please STOP posting the video, he gets a response from someone he never would have thought to hear from. The ex fiance of the guy his own ex was proposing to. What could have started out as something strange and awkward turns out to be the start of a unique friendship. He and Dean find that their exes are not the only thing they have in common. When feelings come into play and they realize they care about one another as more than just friends, they have some decisions to make. They both feel broken, but together they find they really weren't at all.Complete

The choice had been easy. It hadn't even been a choice, really. He had everything planned out in his head, the materials he'd need, the words he had to learn, the silent goodbyes he had to say. Everything had gone according to plan, the candles placed in a circle throwing their flickering light on the walls of his room at the bunker, illuminating the marks that had appeared on his body as he recited the words, marking him as a soul worthy and willing to sacrifice its light for the life of many. He had not planned for the door to burst open suddenly, pushed so forcefully it slammed against the wall, the rush of air blowing out some of the nearer candles and bathing the corners in darkness. He hadn't planned for Dean to stand in the doorway, his expression a mixture of worry, disbelief and anger.
