I looked at him, his blue eyes were eyeing me in deep concentration as he cradled me in his arms.

I smiled weakly, trying to reassure him with my actions that I was going to be alright.

"Don't worry." I muttered before closing my eyes as pain washed over me for the  sixth time. "Ghosts don't get hurt, after all."

I barely registered him replying, his words coming in mismatched timing.

I felt my cheeks becoming wet.

His laughter finally died down and I reached up for his hand, really hoping he'd take it. "At least help me up." I sputter, still trying to wipe the water out of my face. He does. I get a tight grip on his hand and pulled him toward me with all my strength. He's falling in seconds, splashing into the water beside me.
