Okay so this story is inspired by Detroit: Become Human. It's not technically a fanfic because I'm horrible at them, but it's similar to it. There's similar word play (deviant, tin can, machine, etc.). Basically how this works is the story is told by Connor's perspective and he's an android. There's no other androids in the world and he was only made to help out in investigations on the Dpd. Hank is also in this story along with Fowler. Forgive me if Hank or Connor act out of character at all in this story I'll try my best to make them like they are in the game. Thank you for reading!

I won't lie I kinda hate myself for writing this but the ideas kept flowing so here we go It would take a long time for androids to be equal to humans, but at least the first steps had been made. Connor, a prototype for a detective android who managed to go deviant and form a friendship with an old police Lieutenant who drinks just a little too much was one of those androids who liked to believe he had a hand in the outcome of the Android Revolution. The rules were when the Deviant case was solved, Connor would return to Cyberlife, but now that androids were people he could stay in the police department- and you bet your ass he did. Everything was going smoothly for about a month or so until Connor and his best partner Hank are chasing after a serial killer and Connor gets injured on the job. Will Hank be able to finish the case without his partner there every step of the way? And an even bigger question: How will the Lieutenant handle Connors replacement - the RK900? I started by taking up a lot of the scenario and the dialogues of the game by intermingling a new character, then from "Jericho" I went into total improvisation in this version . I tried to make the universe understandable for people who haven't played the game. Cyberlife is desperate, they are afraid that having just one Deviant hunter on the case isn't enough. So they made a new series, RX400 model. It's a prototype just like RK800, but with more experimenting features. Now that both their Deviant Hunters are out there trying to solve the mystery, Cyberlife never expected the two to deviate themselves.
