At the Valley

After high school, I stopped writing for so long. Then, many years passed by, my mother got very ill. I am miles away from her. I was devastated and sad.

One day at 3:00am, God led me to write this poem while my mother was in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in the hospital. I could not sleep so, I took my pen and paper. And I began to write this poem after I prayed.

God revealed to me later on that it was a spiritual battle more than a physical. But God made a way in unexpected way. He healed her during that time.

This poem is very precious to me. It opened the window of my writing journey and the rest was a history. I always remember my mother on this poem.
