Aurelia, a resident medical student, was just about breezing through life without any speedbumps until she meets her previous mentor and saviour's grandson... Melvin.
As soon as I came home, I showered to get rid of my 'manstink' and then went on to see my girls. I am starving but food can wait for now. I find them both on the couch with the TV running and I could see that Aurelia's in a deep sleep. She used to be a deep sleeper, now I am not sure. So, I sit beside her very slowly trying to not wake her up.
I look at her for a minute and a smile makes itself on my face. God I got so lucky! No I worked for where we are right now. We both did and we both deserve to be here. God! I love her so much. I could die a happy man.
I see a movement in my periphery so I lean forward a bit to get the attention of my other girl. My smile turns into a grin. I never thought I could love another person just as much if not a little more. Both my girls get along pretty well... eh, most of the time.
