Aetherna: Night Terrors

Aetherna is an upcoming series of high fantasy, action-adventure novels covering enigmatic artifacts under the same name. The novels aim to explore topics and ideas common in our modern times from the perspective of fantasy characters. This is the first entry in the series.

In a world of magic, not much is beyond imagination, but the Aetherna are something else entirely. They break the laws of both physics and sorcery alike. The artifacts take various shapes and harness many strange powers. But most puzzling is their last trait - their unmatched resistance to all forms of damage.

No scholar or warrior has ever managed to dissect them. That was until Talvent Klenchest, wielder of the air Aetherna, set out to gather them all and learn their secrets. However, his many years of research were cut short and he, now a ruler of a hapless province, dwells alone in his fortress.

Though soon enough, he will find a dire reason to pursue the truth once more.
