Eryx Wysteria lives in the impoverished area of the Theanuthen Empire. His father has raised him to be able to defend and look after himself, meaning the boy must resort to thievery in order to survive the conditions in a poor society. On one of his tasks of thievery does he meet Nevaeh. Nevaeh is a girl from the working class area of the Theanuthen Empire, who still works to have what she has.
