The girls have been on an island in South America for the last two months for a school project. Cory's very excited for Topanga's return, especially because she's coming back just in time for their anniversary. He's a bit nervous that nothing will go as planned, because, well... He's Cory. What's been going on between Shawn and Angela is a mystery. When she left, their relationship was still a bit new. He misses her and occasionally talks about her.  Meanwhile, Eric and Jack were finally relieved of the competition over Rachel. Now that she's coming back, Eric becomes worried that she and Jack will start having feelings for each other again. 
The guys go to the airport to pick up the girls, but for some reason, they don't show.
