An extra Chapter 13 for Lord of the Flies. This was an English assignment that went awry and developed into this short story. Sorry for confusing time lines, and warning: mildly graphic violence and a few dark themes. Read on, if you'd like! Enjoy! Other notes: Lord of the Flies is by William Golding; this is merely a fan work. As for the title: 'Lord of the Flies' literally translates to Beelzebub, the Old Testament name for the devil. Gives a new layer to the story, huh? So there's the detail Christian schools add in. The backstory of Lord of the Flies is also that it takes place in an AU where World War III happened- that is the war in the backdrop of the story. Because no such war happened here, it is safe to assume there will be differences in the time line, technology, and the like. Finally, I also made up the groups for the war. Sorry for any inconvenience. Any questions or feedback, please review!

After two years of working towards recovery, the twenty-two former cadets and survivors of the island are finally brought forth in front of a jury that will determine who is legally at fault for the deaths that occurred on the island, if anyone is at all.
