An extra Chapter 13 for Lord of the Flies. This was an English assignment that went awry and developed into this short story. Sorry for confusing time lines, and warning: mildly graphic violence and a few dark themes. Read on, if you'd like! Enjoy!
Other notes: Lord of the Flies is by William Golding; this is merely a fan work. As for the title: 'Lord of the Flies' literally translates to Beelzebub, the Old Testament name for the devil. Gives a new layer to the story, huh? So there's the detail Christian schools add in. The backstory of Lord of the Flies is also that it takes place in an AU where World War III happened- that is the war in the backdrop of the story. Because no such war happened here, it is safe to assume there will be differences in the time line, technology, and the like. Finally, I also made up the groups for the war. The Spark
"i don't give up easily, 'specially when there's a real pretty girl involved." "cute, merridew. that's real cute." When the pilot's daughter crash-lands on a desert island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, all she wants to do is survive long enough to get rescued. After all, being the only girl on the island with a bunch of school boys and choir boys is no way to spend one's time. Except maybe with the elected chief, Ralph, the intellect, Piggy, the quiet friend and sage, Simon, and the littluns. What she wants most, though, is to keep away from that damn Jack Merridew, who's the most arrogant and annoying boy she's ever met and has some rather questionable friends. But as sparks start to fly between the two of them, the island starts to get more dangerous. Littluns whisper of a "snake-thing" in the woods, and the boys start to lose their grip on sanity and civilization. In the midst of all this, will she stay with the civilization she knows and lose the boy she loves, or stay with the boy she loves and lose the civilization she knows? Note: I will probably go back and edit as needed even when the story is completed. Rating: PG-13 Description: In the wonderful lands of the Dream Team SMP, King Dream has a problem on his hands. Some of his once-loyal citizens have attempted to leave his land and start their own kingdom, called L'Manberg. King Dream won't stand for this. A/N: This is based upon the Great Dream SMP War. I wrote it as if the war took place in a real (fictional) universe where Minecraft physics are the norm. It won't be all blocks, but you get my idea. Reminder, this is all fanfiction and the guys are all friends in real life, so don't take the villainous natures of the guys seriously. Spoiler alert is in effect if you haven't seen the war stream, as this will pretty much be the war word for word. Some of the guys will also be related to assist with moving the plot. I'll be using their in-game names instead of their real names to keep the universe intact. You'll learn it all once the story gets going. I hope you enjoy this! (P.S. Shoutout to Sad-ist for the inspiration to write this story. Your animation for the war is amazing! If you haven't seen it, go check it out!) (P.S.S. Harry Potter and the Lord of the Rings
This story is using characters and places from both the Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings universes. If you know either 1 or neither of these stories this will probably not make any sense to you though you might still enjoy it. Further more please bare in mind my spelling punctuation and grammar is not the best so please excuse it. Finally if you enjoy it please let me know so I know to make more. For these stories I am not including 19 years later or by extention the curse child. I also tweaked some of the lord of the rings universe to suite the story. I don't have the time to list all of them but you should probably know the significant ones: Frodo was now 13 at the beginning of the events of the lord of the rings rather than 50 and he went to the undying lands when he was 14. Hobbits can now be of magical blood. Half-Blood, Pure-Blood, Muggle-Born and Squib. Sam, Merry, Pippin and Rosie are now all the same age as Frodo. Middle Earth is east of America and South West of UK. All people's of Middle Earth of magic born are sent to Hogwarts as geograficaly it is closest. Hobbits are slightly taller than they were before as otherwise it would be a little odd. And some other things I changed from Harry Potter are: Their is a wizarding university now. Harry and Frodo's parents were friends as they also went to hogwarts. Voldemort and Bellatrix were never a thing so no Delphini. Godric Gryffindor and Rowena Ravenclaw were a thing when they were alive. (significant later in the story) I also invented new characters for this story.
