Fast forward hundreds of years into the future, technology has reached a new high but the world is not the same as it once was. Overrun with government, jobs that were once needed to survive in the 21st century have disappeared and there is only one job that matters...hunting the creatures that have evolved around us. But in order to hunt you have to pay your dues to the Venator Guild, the newest form of government. If you can't pay your dues then you won't make a single coin in your pocket. Those rich in the blood and pocket like to hunt for sport while others hunt to make ends meet. Dornico hunts to avenge his father's death but he is still learning the ropes. His father died trying to make ends meet to purchase medicine for his ailing wife and in the end it was the death of him because Dornico's father traveled to the most dangerous part of the world of Pherora called the Lorelei, a place where darkness reigns supreme and the monsters abound are not ones to battle if you don't have the guts but the payout for returning to post your bounty is plentiful and many will die trying to make the big bucks.
