This is a story on HTTYD and what if Hiccup went deaf when he meet Toothless.
The Nightfury, a terrifying creature, swam into his ears, causing them to hear a roar. Despite the dragon's presence, he managed to recover from the pain and return to the village.
I came up with this story with my friend while on a trip and wanted to see if people liked it. My friend does the writing while I help come up with ideas and proof-read it.

I got the idea for this story after reading @Night-FuryDreamer story Night Fury Venom and Night Fury Wrath. I am putting my own spin on the story itself because I have a new idea on where the story could go but if you want to read two EXTREMELY AMAZING STORIES I recommend you go check them out because honestly they are two of the best works of HTTYD fanfic that I've ever read. They top any of the ideas I've ever had. This story follows the journey of Hiccup as he discovers that his mere existence is thanks to two deities who were using him to keep the balance. What they didn't expect was that his role in the balance was flawed until the truth of who he is, is revealed allowing dark forces to grow in strength.
