"I'm on it." He said instantly, cutting her off. "Call Charon and Peleus, too. There might be people trapped on the higher floors and we'll need to get them out." Tommy's excitement screeched to a halt at that. "Get Warden, too. We need someone who can breathe smoke to get in there and help us look." Erebus continued, but Tommy wasn't really paying attention.
People? What did he mean by people? There weren't any people in the tower- it was nearly 2 am. Why would there be people at a news station at 2 in the morning??
The Villain League would never intentionally hurt innocent people.
Then his ears popped, and he heard the screams.

A young blonde boy wakes up in the middle of the forest. He can't remember how he got there or much about himself either. His name is blank from his mind, and he can't even remember his family. His clothes are torn and dirty, and he wonders what happened. He's not hungry, but he wants a small snack, yet every apple tree and every berry bush he passes doesn't strike his fancy. He eventually makes it to a city. Large buildings are fallen over and the ones still standing have busted out windows and/or have smoke and fire coming from them. He can hear distant screams and yells and gunshots. There are people passing him that are strange. They're badly injured and walk slightly hunched over. Some are missing limbs, and some are missing and eye, or both. They don't even appear to be alive to the boy. They look his way but don't mind him. Tommy is confused and scared. He can slightly remember this place to be his once home, and it makes him upset that's it's gone to such shit, and scared by everyone's screams and the fires and the fighting, and mostly, the fact that some people are eating each other. Technically he should be screaming- any other mortal would when met with a huge being with boar features, royally dressed and adorned with enough weapons to dice a human into a grain of rice. But Tommy wasn't scared, heck he was fighting the urge to throw himself at the Blood God and cling- but he was a big man, and big men didn't hug- "I told you he would be waiting" That's another voice that Tommy recognises, glancing away from the terrifying creature to land his gaze on a man sat lazily on one of the pews. His hair was curlier than Tommy's, darker too contrasting his fluffy yellow jumper and brown trenchcoat. He grins and Tommy can't help but smile back at the God of Music "He couldn't wait to see us, obviously" teases the Blood God and Tommy scoffs "As if- I actually live here nimrods, technically you're visiting me" he retorts and they chuckle "Then maybe we should have knocked?" That's a third voice and Tommy shivers in delight, watching a third man descend from seemingly nowhere, ebony wings gracing his fall as he lands lightly, emerald robes swilling around his feet as he smiles warmly. My life began at the beginning of the end, for my planet. No, not some far distant entity that NASA has not discovered yet. His goal in life: to rule the world, obviously. Bleddyn Bird (AKA the mysterious Erebus) is a super-hero, also struggling. While Doctor Nihilistical is running around, Bleddyn is trying to get through graduate school and is barely able to function with the amount of sleep he is getting each night. Both are trying to figure out what they need to do in order to survive, and it's getting to the point where they can't get out of each others' heads long enough to realize what is actually important in life.Complete

Tommy had gotten away from Dream in the canon universe, but in another Tommy was caught and turned into a living punching bag and, kinda, an experiment for Dream later on. He didn't expect Tommy to lose his emotions, the nervous system that told him when he was in pain, and even the will to carry on without Dream by his side. He didn't think that killing and reviving Tommy would affect him so much, but then again Dream wasn't complaining in the slightest. He finally had full control over Tommy, something he'd been craving since he first met the teen. He was not about to let his grip on the teen loosen. Tommy's home is one of the many casualties of this ongoing war he knows nothing about. This not pog to say the least. But as least he can do whatever he wants being one of the only survivors and all right? Wrong! But hey now it's his job to figure out what the heck is going on and find someone who can help him. Luckily for him he finds some information that could lead him to getting help and finally escaping this nightmare of a place. These unsuspecting victims.... I mean people will now have no choice but to love Tommy and protect him in anyway they can.
