Power holders are ranked into Supreme, Elite, Major, or Minor depending on the strength of their powers. Humans with no known power of any sort are called Ordinaries.

Lucy Silva, an Ordinary, is forced into a school for Ordinaries, or the unexpectedly gifted, at the young age of six. She and her best friend Cayden were separated then, leaving a gap between their close relationship.
