Y/N's fall came to an abrupt stop as their body hit the ground, except the ground felt rather soft. They groaned almost inaudibly, rubbing their arm as they lifted themselves onto their knees. ???: "Heh, looks like someone fell for me~" The sudden snarky remark led Y/N to snap their eyes open in confusion, staring down at the cartoon character who lay inches from their face. A periwinkle rabbit, who looked awfully lanky even when laid down, smiled charmingly at Y/N with his yellow teeth. Y/N blinked at the sight of the rabbit's teeth, slowly standing themselves up with their weak legs as the rabbit did the same. ???: "Welcome to the circus, sweetheart. "I don't want to take you home yet" JK muttered with a sigh at the end. I glanced at his side profile as he kept his eyes on the road ahead. "You can always come inside if you want" I said quietly, hoping he would say yes. He looked at me quickly, eyes drifting from my own to look at my lips before looking back the road, tightening his grip on the steering wheel with his hand. "If we were alone in a house, you know as well as I do that neither one of us would be able to keep our hands off one another," he breathed and licked his lips, "it won't be the same how we are with other people around us and in a public place" My lips parted, my thoughts going directly to what he said about how we would be completely alone. We were alone right now, but because he was driving, it was still just safe drifting touches with our hands. The fact that his hand was on my thigh was just showing how comfortable he was getting in a position in where we couldn't physically do anything. "What's wrong with that?" I said quietly. JK glanced at me quickly, taking in my serious expression. "Clari, I'm not after some one time thing, I think both you and I are thinking the exact same thing. "After you're done with everything here on this island. Would you like to maybe- join our crew? For real this time." Ace's eyes light up with hope. "I don't think I'll make it before you leave-" You look away, not bearing to face his piercing stare anymore. "I can wait!" he interrupts, letting go of your hand as quickly as he took it. "I mean uhh... me and the crew... we can wait for you," he stutters out. "This place seems pretty cool. I wouldn't mind staying here for a few more days."
