Hugh has a big jealousy on Nate because of his progress to become a Pokémon champion. Because he gets one step further than hugh. So one day, Hugh had enough, he managed to trick nathan, and tried to "help" him to accomplish his purpose. As Nate was asleep, he managed to commit something that he personally didn't regret at all. He decided to steal Nathan's samurott called "azure" and he sent them out. He had a knife on his possession, and he brutally killed Nate's samurott. He hid in a cave waiting for Nate's arrival. As he arrived, he got a very twisted and psychotic idea in mind, he thought "if he's still alive, I won't acomplish my purpose..." he decided to not to use the knife. He decided to punch him nonstop, 4bus3 him psychically, leaving him severely hurt. As he did so, Nate was hyperventilating on the floor, he couldn't move because of the wounds and bruises he has on his body, Hugh came back to the cave, with a bottle of gasoline. He used the gasoline on Nate and he used the half of it to make Nate drink it violently, as he did that, he had a lighter and he said his last words "I'm glad to get rid of you, cunt." Then he turned Nate on fire. And he left without any evidence. Nate is still on the cage, on fire. It only passed few weeks to the fire to stop. But Nathan won't let this slip. He's still searching for him. For his avenge.
